Every appliance has a model number. Knowing how to find and read it is the fastest path to finding the right replacement part.

Where to Find the Model Number

### Refrigerators Inside the fridge on the left side wall, or on a plate behind the crisper drawers. Sometimes on the back of the unit.

### Washers Inside the door or lid. Front load washers usually have it on the front lip of the door opening. Top loaders have it under the lid.

### Dryers Inside the door on a sticker. Sometimes on the back of the unit.

### Dishwashers On the left or right side of the door opening. Open the door and look along the top edge or side panel.

### Ovens and Ranges Behind the storage drawer at the bottom (pull the drawer out), or on the door frame when you open the oven door.
